Avoid crossing your legs

You might be most comfortable crossing your legs while you’re sitting, but your veins are suffering. Relieve the unnecessary stress on your veins by uncrossing your legs while seated, and try to elevate your legs when you’re resting. 

Invest in compression stockings

Get off your feet

Your valves already work hard against the force of gravity to keep your blood flowing in the right direction. Take the pressure off your veins by getting off your feet, and avoid standing for long periods of time.
